Responsibilities
To develop and execute the buying office strategies and manage the day-to-day office functions.
To select and buy product; to develop and execute product, concepts, shows, brands and ideas that achieve business goals (aligned to Buying KPIs).
To develop and own talent in the Product Teams centered around the WCM key differentiators (i.e.
Buyer, Assistant Buyer)
Develop and deliver multi-platform short and mid-range business plans that meet or exceed the financial goals.
Seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and align others with the buying strategy.
Team
The Senior Buyer of Electronics supports QVC and is charged with buying saleable product by discovering, encouraging, and cultivating new ideas while keeping the customer at the heart of everything that they do. He or she will work very closely with the DMM to help develop and execute the buying office strategies and manage the day to day office functions.
