Requirements
A minimum of five years of clinical practice in child and family mental health and/or youth addictions.
Demonstrated clinical supervision experience, particularly in settings focused on specific populations such as children and adolescents.
Demonstrated experience providing clinical treatment for child or youth mental health.
A satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Intervention Check.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Supervisor functions as part of a collaborative leadership team providing direct supervision to frontline staff and daily clinical direction and support to an interprofessional team.
The Program Supervisor practices according to the code of ethics and practice standards of their specific discipline and supports the scope of practice and codes of ethics of other disciplines represented on their team.
Work within a collaborative leadership model with the Program Manager, Program Education Lead and the Director, Clinical Classrooms to develop high-functioning clinical and educational teams within a school environment.
Be responsible for daily operational management of classrooms including relevant program and clinical decisions.
Partner with the Program Education Lead to support evidence-informed practice within the program, enabling program staff to use a holistic, high-quality model of assessment and treatment planning that is family-centered, trauma-informed and inclusive of biological, psychological, social and cultural factors.
Support EMR documentation training for new staff, and monitor for adherence to CASA’s Standards of Practice and program-specific requirements, including file audits and regular clinical observation.

The CASA Classrooms program provides individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, medication management and schooling according to each patient’s individual need. CASA Classrooms are CASA’s model for school-based mental health service. The program is delivered in partnership with the Government of Alberta, community partners and school divisions.
