Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

This role supports the Emergency Department in patient care tasks, patient interactions, supply stocking, transportation of patients, and assisting with procedures.

The role utilizes clinical knowledge to assist with patient needs and allows for professional development in areas of clinical skills, communication, and customer service.

The Emergency Department at Munson Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center, Regional Referral Center, Certified Stroke Center, Certified Chest Pain Center, with a dedicated behavioral health wing.  The Emergency Department is 43 beds to provide care for northern Michigan.
