Requirements

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a commercial strategy or business consulting role within the technology sector, preferably financial technology, with a strong and demonstrable background in the Financial Services and/or Insurance industry.

Past experience in both Enterprise and Platform business models is a distinct plus

Expert knowledge of the Financial Services & Insurance is essential, including a deep understanding of market trends, competitive dynamics, operating models, and regulatory environments.

Significant experience in successfully working with leading Financial Services and Insurance to drive financial success is required

Ability to develop strong relationships, both internally and with strategic customers and partners, including C-level executives at major financial institutions and insurance carriers.

Clear understanding of the payments and financial sector, as well as financial technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the growth, adoption, and usage of Adyen's services within the global Financial Services and Insurance sectors, with a primary focus on significantly increasing our market share and penetration in this priority industry

In partnership with Product Marketing, shape our go-to-market strategy and positioning for our critical product areas.

Communicate this strategy in an actionable way to our global Sales & Account Management and Partnerships organization.

Partner closely with regional Heads of Sales and their respective vertical teams to execute our Financial Services and Insurance market strategy.

This includes identifying and targeting key new logos, supporting and leading prospecting efforts, tailoring our established value propositions to address specific prospect needs, and driving the sales process to close deals and increase account penetration.

Develop and refine our segmentation of the Financial Services and Insurance customer portfolio, identifying opportunities to expand into new sub-verticals, markets, and/or countries, with a focus on high-potential segments.
