Demonstrate understanding of Microarray/Sequencing/Library Preparation technology, molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics.

Wet-lab experience in the molecular biology/biochemistry lab environment with sound laboratory skills.

Hands-on experience for planning and execution of DOE for workflow optimization/problem-solving/root cause investigation is preferred.

Typically requires a 0 - 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related disciplines.

To support the growth of Illumina, we are looking for a System Integration Engineer to join the Microarray System Integration Team within Illumina Product Development.

You will participate in the development of high quality, robust microarray products through the integration of hardware, instrument, software, chemistry components and workflows.

This is a hand-on position which will require you to be responsible for the design & execution of the experiment plan, the analysis of the experimental results and the troubleshooting/investigation on the potential system issues, to support the development of end-to-end assay workflows.

Hands-on testing and integration of the product system –hardware, software, chemistry/reagents, consumables and application components.

Design and execute experiment protocols to optimize end-to-end workflow performance.
