Water Operator I - Dallas Water Utilities - Multiple Locations (Civil Service)

High School Diploma or GED.

Two (2) years of work experience, of which one (1) must be hands-on in the field of the required license as defined by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for applicable licensure.

Subject to twenty-four/seven (24/7) emergency call-out.

Availability to work various shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

$50,731.20 - $57,636.80

Works collaboratively with counterparts to operate a water purification plant, wastewater treatment plant or a system of pumping stations to ensure continuous water service, which meets established guidelines.

With limited supervision, monitors system performance, adjusting equipment, processes, computerized pumping stations, and other related assets as needed to ensure a constant water supply, quality of water, and/or effectively treated effluent.
