Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering for switchgear, power distribution equipment, or similar products
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering leadership, supervisory, or team-lead role
Deep technical knowledge of low- and medium-voltage switchgear systems
Strong understanding of standardization, modular design, and design-to-criteria execution
Working knowledge of NRTL certifications, UL standards, and compliance requirements

Responsibilities
Lead a centralized Expedite Engineering team focused on rapid delivery of electrical design packages
Define, document, and maintain clear technical boundaries, eligibility criteria, and guardrails for expedited engineering offerings
Partner closely with Sales, Applications, and Product teams to support front-end opportunities with fast, repeatable design solutions
Ensure expedited designs meet defined turnaround targets while complying with IEM standards, codes, and certification requirements
Serve as the escalation point for expedited requests that exceed defined criteria, guiding appropriate transition to standard engineering workflows
Directly manage, coach, and mentor Electrical Design Engineers, fostering a culture of urgency, accountability, and technical excellence
