Requirements
5+ years of experience with building electrical and mechanical systems
5+ years of experience in a facilities engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
5+ years of experience with computerized Building Automation Systems (e.g., Trane, Honeywell, Johnson Controls Metasys)
5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry supporting Environmental Controls, Flight Controls, and/or Mechanical/Hydraulic Systems
5+ years of experience with PLC (programmable logic control) hardware
5+ years of experience with equipment reliability or machine troubleshooting
Responsibilities
Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain Building Automation Systems, including hardware, servers, software, and networks
Diagnose and resolve environmental control issues — temperature, humidity, pressure, airflow, noise, and indoor air quality — and implement long-term solutions
Configure, program, calibrate, and test controllers and sensors for integration into BAS networks
Design and program setpoints and control logic across temperature, humidity, pressure, scheduling, and equipment state
Investigate failures, determine root causes, and develop corrective actions and workarounds
Plan and specify system and equipment improvements as well as preventative maintenance programs
