designing and operating data storage technology at scale in cloud‑native SaaS (AWS/GCP, MySQL, relational, graph database, NoSQL, caching, event systems, progressive delivery).
Proven ownership

through developer portals and partner onboarding/marketplaces; shipped versioning/deprecation programs and webhook/event architectures (REST/GraphQL; Kafka/PubSub or equivalents).
Responsibilities
BambooHR is seeking a Distinguished Architect to partner with the VPs of Software Engineering, Software Architects, and Cloud Engineering in leading the Bamboo Product’s Data Technology Architecture. In this role, the Distinguished Architect defines and stewards the architectural vision for our overall Data Technology.
This position is accountable for the cohesive architecture of BambooHR’s product data platform, ensuring alignment and interoperability across domains in collaboration with domain architects and engineering
