Requirements
2–5 years of hands-on experience in automated material handling systems, preferably within airport or logistics environments.
Deep understanding of mechatronic systems, including sensors, actuators, motors, and controls.
Proficiency in BEUMER SAC systems, PLC programming (Siemens preferred), and fault diagnostics.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, including Profinet, CANbus, and other Fieldbus systems.
Skilled in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and software interfaces for system analysis.
High attention to detail and commitment to safety, compliance, and quality standards.

Responsibilities
The Senior Maintenance Technician is a key contributor to the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of the BEUMER Individual Carrier System (ICS) within airport baggage handling operations.
This role demands advanced mechatronics expertise across electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
The Technician provides hands-on support, system diagnostics, and technical leadership to ensure seamless baggage flow and minimal downtime.
This role will support the BEUMER Individual Carrier System (ICS) at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).
Perform routine and advanced maintenance on BEUMER ICS components, including ICS elements, diverters, scanners, and third-party equipment used to interface with the system.
Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, and control subsystems using structured troubleshooting methods.
