Responsibilities

Flex is hiring an Associate General Counsel, Product & Regulatory to join our Product & Regulatory Legal team.

This role leads cross-functional legal projects with company wide impact — partnering directly with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Finance, and BD to shape how Flex navigates a complex and evolving consumer financial regulatory landscape.

You’ll drive multiple strategic decisions simultaneously and own significant portions of the legal function roadmap.

Lead cross-functional legal projects from intake to resolution — setting strategy, driving decisions, and coordinating across teams

Serve as the senior legal partner for product and engineering, providing real-time guidance on new features, product enhancements, and go-to-market strategy

Own regulatory change management end-to-end: monitor federal and state developments (CFPB, state AGs, state legislatures), assess business impact, and recommend a path forward
