Supports the integration of tenants from different lifestyles in the delivery of tenant-centered social and recreational programs.

Stays abreast of industry changes and developments in housing and related series for seniors.

Makes recommendations for program changes in the delivery of service for seniors.

Remains current on topics and issues related to seniors' programming and the impact of social stimulation on health and wellness.

Compensation & Benefits

Pre-probation: $19.56 / post-probation $21.09

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Activities & Events Specialist implements and directs activities and programs that promote fun and social interactions amongst tenants via monthly activities calendars including activities such as Tai Chi, leisure outings, arts and crafts, gardening, organized games, coordination of special events and other related activities.

Respect and promote dignity and individuality by recognizing each client as a whole individual with unique cultural, spiritual & psychosocial needs tenants in accordance with the Vibrant Advantage™ approach and philosophy.

Develops, plans, implements, and monitors an array of wellness, educational, and recreation programs to meet the specific needs of the tenants.

Implement monthly life enrichment calendar for tenants.
