Manufacturing Service Technician

3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment required.

Experience with schematic reading and comprehension (mechanical and electrical) required.

Experience using measurement tools (multi-meters, continuity testers, tape measure, calipers, etc.) and hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, small power tools) required.

Strong experience with mechanical assembly concepts preferred.

Experience with Radiation detection or UAV manufacturing is a plus.

Proficiency in UAS technology, flight operations, and troubleshooting.

Under general supervision, the Service Technician will perform a variety of electronic, mechanical and test functions following written Standard Operating Procedures and verbal instructions as part of the Teledyne FLIR manufacturing team on UAS Systems.

Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience and instrumentation repair are required.  Good organizational and relevant computer skills (i.e.

Microsoft Office) are needed for maintaining production records.

This role will also support Manufacturing of UAS systems.

Assemble mechanical parts and electronic components following manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions, process documents, travelers, etc.) into sub-units and complete units.

Perform sub-assembly, process assembly, inspection, modifications, upgrades, and rework.
