Required Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Environmental Health, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
At least one course in human health risk assessment.
Ability to review and interpret scientific literature.
Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities
Our Health Sciences Practice supports clients across industries by providing scientific expertise in toxicology, exposure assessment, human health risk assessment, chemical safety, and regulatory compliance. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced toxicologists and scientific consultants to support research, analysis, and client deliverables. This internship offers hands-on experience in evaluating chemical hazards, interpreting toxicological data, preparing scientific summaries, and supporting regulatory and risk assessment projects. Your work will include research into potential airborne mycotoxin exposures and associated human health risks and the preparation of a paper to be published. As a result of this internship, you will gain exposure to a wide range of real-world assignments and will collaborate with multidisciplinary experts across the firm.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with reviewing toxicological, pharmacological, and environmental health literature.
Support the evaluation of chemical, biological, or environmental hazards.
Help prepare toxicology summaries, technical reports, and scientific briefing materials.
Contribute to human health risk assessments under supervision.
