Requirements

10+ years of experience in software engineering, application architecture, or solution architecture roles

Deep expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications using Microsoft.NET technologies

Strong experience architecting cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure environments

Demonstrated experience building and modernizing distributed systems using microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures

Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture frameworks, and engineering best practices

Experience guiding multiple engineering teams through complex technical initiatives and architectural decisions

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Responsibilities

iCapital is seeking an Application Architect to lead the architecture, design, and modernization of the illustration related applications.

This role serves as a key member of the Core Architecture Team, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams across the United States and Jaipur to drive cloud modernization, support client delivery, establish architectural standards, and provide technical leadership across strategic platform initiatives.

The architect will play a critical role in advancing the transition of legacy systems to scalable Azure-based microservices while ensuring the reliability, performance, and long-term supportability of the various applications ecosystems.

Lead architecture strategy, design reviews, and implementation guidance for several applications in the illustration area of the company.

Define and govern solution architecture standards, technical roadmaps, and engineering best practices across the Illustration platform.

Partner with product management, engineering leadership, and implementation teams to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
