TeaKo is a career and job recommendation engine

It runs on a proprietary index of 330,000+ open jobs from 10,000+ employers' own careers pages, machine-learning models we trained on that data, and established, widely used vocational assessments.

A person shares their work experience and fills in short questionnaires on their interests, work values and personality. In about fifteen minutes they see the careers they're a good fit for, the companies whose values match theirs, and the jobs within reach without re-skilling.

From one chat to jobs worth applying to

  • A short chat and the career fit test. The person says what they want next and adds a resume, then answers questions on what they enjoy, what matters to them at work and how they work.
  • A personal report. The careers they fit, placed by how far each one is from what they do today, with why it fits and what isn't on their resume yet.
  • Companies where they'd thrive. Employers whose own words match what the person wants from work, starting with the ones hiring in their careers now.
  • Jobs within reach, every morning. A short list of live jobs ranked against their resume. Every job opens on the employer's own site.
  • A resume tailored to one job. Re-worded for the posting, with nothing made up.

We built the data, the models and the checks ourselves

TeaKo builds a detailed picture of every job and employer, and of each person, then matches the two.

The job side

  • Our own job data. We collect open jobs directly from employers' own careers pages and keep them current. No job-board feeds and no bought listings.
  • Cleaned and organised. Every posting is put into one standard shape, so jobs from different employers can be compared like for like.
  • Mapped to careers. Models we trained place every job in a map of career fields.
  • Employer profiles. Every employer gets a profile of what it does, how it describes itself and how it hires.

The person side

  • What they want. A short chat records the move the person wants to make.
  • Who they are. Questionnaires built on established vocational assessments cover their interests, work values and personality.
  • What they've done. Their experience is read for the background and skills they would bring.
  • Where they fit. The result is a map of the careers they fit, starting with the ones closest to what they do today.

Where the two sides meet

Every morning the two sides are matched, and each person gets a short list of the live jobs that fit them best. Recommendations are computed from the data, and every change to a resume is checked against the person's own resume.

Frequently asked questions

Everyone is building a job search tool. Why is TeaKo different?

TeaKo finds the few jobs that are right for a person in the middle of all the noise.

  • Auto-apply tools. They send a resume to as many jobs as possible, with little attention to fit.
  • Job boards. They list jobs bought from data aggregators.
  • TeaKo. It also makes applying easier, and it collects its own jobs directly from employers. What sets it apart is the step in between: finding the right ones.
How is TeaKo different from a job board?

A job board starts from the jobs. TeaKo starts from the person.

  • On a job board. Employers pay to post or promote their jobs, and people search a long list.
  • On TeaKo. A person first sees the careers they fit, then the companies that match what they want from work, then a short list of live jobs ranked against their resume.
  • No employer pays to appear. Every job comes from the employer's own careers page and opens there, where the person applies.
How is it different from a career test?

TeaKo gives a direction and the jobs that follow it, not a label.

  • A career test. It usually ends with a type, a score or a list of job titles.
  • TeaKo. It gives no type and no score, and ties the person's answers to their real experience and to live jobs and companies.
Why not just ask a general AI chatbot?

A general chatbot has no live job data, and nothing checks what it writes.

  • Live, cleaned jobs. TeaKo's recommendations are computed from its own index of jobs from employers' own sites.
  • No invented experience. Code checks every rewritten resume line against the person's own resume.
Where do the jobs come from, and how fresh are they?

From employers' own careers pages, refreshed every day.

  • Only live jobs. A job is shown only while it is still open on the employer's site and was posted recently.
  • Honest dates. Each job says whether its date came from the employer or from when TeaKo first saw it.
Who pays, and who doesn't?

Only the person, through one membership at US$29.90 per month.

  • Free to start. The chat and the test cost nothing; membership begins at the results.
  • Cancel anytime. Access runs to the end of the paid month.
  • Employers pay nothing. TeaKo does not sell personal information either.
What happens to people's data?

Answers and resumes stay private to the person.

  • Never shared. Not with employers, not with advertising networks, and never sold.
  • Personality answers are not stored. Only the scores worked out from them are kept.
  • No employer side. TeaKo doesn't screen anyone for an employer or contact recruiters.
What is hard to copy?

The path from raw data to the right recommendation.

  • Collecting jobs is the easy part. Turning messy postings and a person's experience into a short list they can act on is the hard part.
  • Many rounds of work. Data science and testing with beta testers, and what we learned is built into every step.
  • Hard to repeat. A newcomer would have the same raw data and none of that learning.
What stage is TeaKo at?

Live in the United States and Canada.

  • Membership on sale. Since September 2026.
  • The company. Self-funded and founder-led, based in Toronto, Canada.
